Verbs, Verbs, Vivacious Verbs!
We're looking at verbs this week and next to see how these flexible little parts of speech can make our sentences clearer to the reader. Topics include: action & states of being; past, present, future; regular, irregular. We'll practice using the thesaurus to help expand the verb vocabulary. If you hear of an interesting, colorful or downright vivacious verb, write it down, use it when you speak, add it to your scribblement.

It's kind of tricky to think of for walk. But it got really easy for me. I would actully enjoy doing more verb stuff.

I love doing verbs. It was a good idea to do those actions and then we had to write them down on our paper. It wa really funny when you jumped over our deks and let me tell you I will NEVER EVER see a teacher do that again. :)

Verbs are cool because you use really cool words that are not regular words you say every day.

I always thought verbs were really easy. But thinking of alot for one word like walk! It's hard! Shockingly it is! But know since we learned and did a lesson on it it's easier.
ReplyDeleteI agree, thinking of another word for walk is difficult. Sometimes its not in a thesaures. Since we have done this lesson, it makes it a lot easier. Abby :)
